"RINGO Y BARBARA BACH SE CASAN EN LONDRES"

El dia 27 de abril de 1981 en el Registro de Marylebone, en Londres, Ringo Starr se casa con la modelo y actriz Barbara Bach, a la que conoció en 1980 durante la filmación de la película "El Cavernícola".

A la fiesta asistieron los dos ex-beatles sobrevivientes, con sus respectivas esposas e hijos. Ademas, Neil Aspinall, Derek Taylor, Ray Cooper, Harry Nilson, la madre de Ringo y el padrastro de este.
Después del servicio, la pareja posó para el fotógrafo oficial, Terry O’Neil quien había volado especialmente desde Nueva York para la ocasión. Los 70 invitados que asistieron a la recepción en el “Mayfair Club Rags”, fueron partícipes de la sesión que tuvo lugar con todas las estrellas invitadas.

A mitad de la celebración, improvisaron algunas canciones, George a la guitarra, Paul y Harry Nilsson alternando en el piano, y Ringo compartiendo con Ray Cooper la percusión con unas cucharas.
