Barbara Bach, born Barbara Ann Goldbach on 27th August 1947 in New York, is an American actress and model. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Major Anya Amasova in the 1977 James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me", alongside Roger Moore. Her performance as a beautiful strong and capable Bond girl earned her praise from critics and audiences alike.
Prior to her acting career, she began her journey as a model in the 1960s, gracing the covers of numerous magazines. Her transition to acting proved successful, with roles in films such as "Force 10 from Navarone" and "Caveman". She also appeared in the cult classic "The Black Belly of the Tarantula".
In 1981 she married former Beatle Ringo Starr. Together they have been involved in various charitable and philanthropic endeavours.
