The Nolans : Anne Nolan, Bernie Nolan, Coleen Nolan, Denise Nolan, Linda Nolan, Maureen Nolan. Pop act consisting of a group of sisters. All sisters were originally part of an Irish family singing group, The Singing Nolans. The family moved from Ireland to Blackpool in 1962. In 1974, several of the female family members were signed as "The Nolan Sisters". This name was used until 1979, after which they became "The Nolans".
