Princess Diana wasn’t a real princess

Why isn't Princess Diana really a Real Princess? According to royal rules, in order to get the title of princess you have to be born into a royal family and have "royal blood". For example, like Queen Elizabeth's daughter Princess Anne or like the Queen's granddaughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. Diana had the title Princess of Wales, showing that she was married to the Prince of Wales. and although she was known as Princess, in official documents she was always called Diana, Princess of Wales.
