I was sitting watching a video, yesterday when my phone buzzed me to alert me to a message

It was seeminglyfrom Royal Mail, what is more II was expecting a package so I clicked the link

BUT I was not expecting this shipment...

I got on the site after going through an I am not a robot check...( really bad images) so suspicious already...

There was a package with a tracking number apparently waiting delivery... on PAYMENT of £1.00

At that point my suspicions kicked in, this is not NORMAL PROCEDURE for ROYAL MAIL deliveries at first instance of notification.

I Clicked on other links on the page!! All inactive!!

Watch out these kind of scams just want your bank details which I did not submit!!

I checked my bank account this morning, no £1.00 payments so, so far it looks ok!! But this will make me check my account even more regularly now. This sort of scam seems to date from November 2023, I have no doubt there are many others going on

once you give them a way in they will strip your bank account in a second!
