Guiding us through this journey is none other than the original host, the late Eamonn Andrews, who was about to pull off another of his legendary surprises.

On this occasion, Eamonn was after a man who had become a household name as a question master—one who had been putting two teams of celebrities through a lively session of charades in front of an unsuspecting audience. Little did they know, Eamonn had a plan up his sleeve. Assisting in the diversion were the two team captains, the late Una Stubbs and Lionel Blair, who played their parts perfectly to keep the subject unaware of what was about to unfold.

This man is no stranger to British television. He captivated audiences for nearly a decade as the host of a long-running talk show from the mid-80s to the early 90s. He also had a memorable stint presenting Blockbusters and became a familiar face on Antiques Roadshow. But perhaps, above all, we remember him best as the second guardian of the big red book.
