Royal Mail OPENED My Mail

Have you ever received a letter that was already opened when it arrived? That’s exactly what happened to me! Royal Mail delivered my letter in a plastic envelope with "Our sincere apologies" printed on top, admitting that my mail had arrived damaged. Inside, they included a note stating that IF there were any valuables inside, I might be able to claim compensation. Suspicious, right?

The letter in question felt slightly thicker than usual because it contained a small paper slip. Apparently, that was enough for someone at Royal Mail to think there could be money inside. So what did they do? They OPENED IT! Who else could have done it? Surely, the eBay seller who posted it wouldn’t send an already opened envelope, and once it was in transit, it was only handled by Royal Mail employees.

And what was inside this "suspicious" envelope? Not cash, not valuable items—just a NAME TAG for my kitten! That’s right, someone at Royal Mail was willing to tamper with mail, all in the hopes of finding money, and instead, they got... a pet tag. Clearly, Royal Mail isn’t vetting their employees properly and is hiring dishonest individuals who are willing to open people’s private mail in search of cash.
