ITV has launched a new show titled "SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters," celebrating the 50th anniversary of Spielberg's classic film "Jaws" by sending a group of celebrities into shark-filled waters. Instead of a reunion or rehash of the original film, ITV opted for a unique blend of entertainment and natural history, despite initial skepticism about the concept.

The five-part series features notable figures like Dougie Poynter from McFly, Lenny Henry, Helen George, and Rachel Riley, all facing their fears in the Bahamas. George, who suffers from aquaphobia, and other participants navigated the challenges of encountering live sharks, with comedic moments lightening the tension.

Poynter humorously noted he'd prefer diving with tiger sharks over running with lions, showcasing the show's blend of fear and fun.
