However, defiant Stacey was proud to show off her hairy legs, which she'd covered in glitter and hair dye, describing them as an 'accessory'.At the start of November, the presenter vowed to stop shaving until December in a stand against the expectations of women in society.The panel, which also included Linda Robson, Janet Street-Porter and Christine Lampard, were discussing their grooming habits on the show - and questioned why women should shave at all.Stacey kicked things off by stating: 'I think I might be the topic of many chats in the back room because people are quite alarmed by the state of my grooming!' With the panel breaking out into laughter, the blonde went on to admit she rarely gets rid of the hairs on her legs, as she never has the time or energy.She then revealed that she, alongside Linda Robson, Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams, decided to stop shaving for nearly a month, as an act against the idea women have to be hair-free.However, the response hasn't been wholly positive, with some fans less than impressed when she shared a picture of her hairy legs on Instagram earlier this week.One posted 'Shave those legs!! Yuck!' while another added 'What's with the hairy legs?' But some fans were more complimentary, praising her for setting an example to young girls.One wrote 'I think it's a good thing you r doing u r a real role model to girls', while another added: 'It's winter, who shaves in winter, extra warmth!'.
