Jacob Lewis, a singer from Newfoundland who works daily in the oil and gas industry, captured public attention after his stunning performance on the stage of Canada’s Got Talent 2025. The man, who is also a husband and father to four-year-old twin boys, managed to earn a Golden Buzzer from judge Shania Twain thanks to his powerful voice and extraordinary charisma.
Jacob is not a professional singer. He spent five years working on an offshore oil platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean before switching to an office job to be closer to his family. In his daily life, Jacob mostly sang in his car during his commute to and from work. However, his deep love for music eventually led him to try his luck in Canada’s biggest talent competition.
