Evaluating sexual dysfunction in young women with breast cancer

Cynthia Villarreal-Garza, MD, DSc, TecSalud, Monterrey, Mexico, comments on the prevalence of sexual dysfunction in young women with breast cancer. In Mexico, approximately half of patients experience persistent sexual dysfunction after 5 years, emphasizing the need for active management to improve patient outcomes.
