1955: Julie Andrews Interview

On this day in 1955, Hollywood megastar Julie Andrews gave an interview to ITN's Lynne Reid Banks. Having just returned from the US, Andrews was impressed with American commercial programming, and expressed an interest in seeing how the advent of commercial television in Britain would compare.
